How We End Up With Cars to Sell
When someone calls us to pick up a scrap car, we assess it when we arrive. Most of the time the car really is at end of life — too damaged, too old, not worth fixing. Those go straight to scrap processing and the owner gets their cash.
But sometimes we show up and the car is actually in better shape than described. Maybe it passed its last inspection but the owner just didn’t want to deal with it anymore. Maybe its been sitting a couple years but runs fine. Maybe someone moved and just left it behind.
In those cases, rather than scrap a perfectly usable vehicle, we might keep it and sell it on. We clean it up, check it over, and if its genuinely driveable we make it available for sale.
We’re not a used car lot and we dont have a showroom. The selection at any given time is small — sometimes one or two vehicles, sometimes none at all. Its not a predictable inventory like a dealership. But when we do have something, its usually priced fairly because we’re not trying to make a big margin on car sales — that’s not our core business.
What Kind of Cars Do We Usually Have
Honestly it varies a lot. We’ve had everything from older sedans to trucks to minivans. The common thread is they’re all complete, functional vehicles — not project cars, not stripped-down donors, not cars you need to dump another thousand dollars into just to make roadworthy.
Generally speaking what we tend to have:
- Older model sedans and hatchbacks in decent running condition
- Trucks and SUVs, especially ones that got traded up for something newer but still have life in them
- Minivans and family vehicles
- Occasionally commercial vans or work trucks
We don’t stock luxury cars or anything high-end. The vehicles we sell tend to be practical, affordable, and in the kind of shape where you could drive it home the same day without stress.

How the Sale Works
Pretty straightforward. You come to us at 145 Schoolhouse St #36 in Coquitlam, have a look at the vehicle, take it for a drive if you want to, and we tell you the price. No high-pressure sales tactics, no hidden fees. If you like it, we do the paperwork, you pay, and you drive it home.
We handle the transfer documentation through ICBC the same way any private vehicle sale works in BC. You’ll need valid BC ID and we’ll need the vehicle registration. Everything is done properly — nothing sketchy about how we operate.
